Keys Trip

August 16th, 2007 by Tracy Wicklund

So its the first keys trip of this lobster season.  I can’t wait to get down there.  We will be staying at the Holiday Inn in Key Largo and renting a boat right from their Marina.  Should be a great trip. Only thing we are worried about is the hurricane, I think the name is Dean.  But from what the weather channel has been saying it should stay south of us, and if it stays far enough south it wont even have any rollers that will bother us.

Transformers - AMAZING MOVIE

July 11th, 2007 by Tracy Wicklund

Ok, so I know I am older now, but the thought of a Transformers live action move excited me like no other movie has in quite some time.  I have memories of Optimus Prime and Cliff Jumper from my days of hasbro toys and cap guns…Memories that leave me very happy…When I heard Transformers was going to be produced by Steven Speilberg I knew it was going ot be great…But I had no idea just how great it would be.

IPhone Looks Cool, but did Apple miss the marketing mark?

June 28th, 2007 by Tracy Wicklund

I must admit…I really like the look of the iphone. But it seems to me that Apple may have missed the mark. I mean, the iphones marketing release was months ago, and they are just now about to have their product release? Seems to me that by having this much time pass, they are really just allowing the competition to once again catch up.

Throw an “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” Party

March 16th, 2007 by Treva Bedinghaus

Looking for a great party idea? Invite guests to your own rendition of the hit game show “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. Test their knowledge, or lack thereof, of grade school facts. Much like the hit game show, grownups will find themselves in disbelief over how much they have forgotten since elementary school. You will surely make the “honor roll when you throw this A+ party for your friends.

March 6th, 2007 by Treva Bedinghaus

Surprise - to make somebody amazed; to cause somebody to feel sudden wonder or amazement, especially at something unexpected.

It’s rather easy to pull off as long as you stick to a solid plan. Follow the steps below…you may be surprised at how easy it really is to catch someone unaware.

Super Bowl Commercials

February 5th, 2007 by Tracy Wicklund

Not a bad year for commercials this year.  But I have certainly scene better.  I think my favorite would have to be the Blockbuster online commercial with the mouse…”Its not working because we didn’t plug it in.”  HA.

Wordpress 2.1

January 25th, 2007 by Tracy Wicklund

I upgraded to Wordpress 2.1 last night. The upgrade actually went fairly easily, and only took 28 minutes. I only had to change one page (sidebar.php) which began crashing on the blogroll tab on the index after the upgrade. But this was a quick and easy bug to troubleshoot. Other then that, everything went very well. Even my plugins all worked as designed.

Kudos to the Wordpress team for releasing yet another fine version of WordPress!!!

Pack a Valentine Lunch

January 24th, 2007 by Treva Bedinghaus

This Valentine’s Day, send your heart to school with your child.  Instead of packing her usual brown bag lunch, surprise her by creating a miniature Valentine’s Day celebration for her to enjoy.  (Remember that even though Valentine’s Day is typically a “pink day, boys enjoy celebrating the day of hearts and love too!  Simply adapt these instructions for a more masculine feel…use a blue bag and maybe a blue napkin.)
